You can't beat making a lovely tomato sauce for your Bolognese who needs the tinned stuff.

Butter bean & oyster mushroom Bolognese
This recipe is tasty filling easy to make and gluten free .
High in protein this meal is great for those who frequent the gym find recipe below.
Ingredients
4 oyster mushrooms
1 cup butter beans
1/2 green bell pepper
1/2 yellow bell pepper
1 red onion
1 stalk of spring onion
Tomato sauce
3 fresh tomatoes
3 cloves garlic
1 1/2 tsp paprika
1 tsp pink salt
2 tbsp italian herbs
3 tbsp tomato puree
gluten free pasta

Method

Blend the tomatoes and garlic for the tomato sauce in a blender till smooth
Pull mushrooms apart and pan fry with some paprika , remove from pan then fry onion & spring onion , then add tomato sauce to pan.
Add herbs and seasonings to the pan and stir add tomato puree .
Add mushrooms , onions and butter beans to the pan cook for 10 minutes
Serve with pasta, flatbread and salad
